It was our first trip to Canada to visit my son. My husband and I had a stop over at Doha. The hotel we stayed at, served this dessert and I loved it. However, they had used phyllo pastry. Since we don't get phyllo pastry here, I didn't attempt to make it. Reading through your post, you mentioned that the different ingredients we can use. I will hopefully try this recipe out soon using puff pastry. Thanks for sharing this delicious dessert.
